New Dawn: The Art of Transformation
As I have said before, it was time the next step in the evolution of my 3D work, which comes in the form of New Dawn! For those who have been following my journey, you know that this project is a labor of love, an ambitious blend of narrative depth, striking visuals, and bondage all in one. Today, I’m thrilled to share the roadmap for New Dawn and what’s in store for the months ahead.
Pre-Production: Laying the Foundation
Between now and Q3 2025, I am fully focused on completing the pre-production phase. This means finishing all 3D models, environments, and writing the entire story in full detail. Alongside this, a dedicated New Dawn wiki will be established, serving as a comprehensive resource for lore, characters, and world-building that makes this project unique. By the end of Q3, everything will be in place - fully fleshed out and ready for the next stage.
Bringing the Story to Life with Animation
Once pre-production is complete, I will transition into animating key parts of the story, using the finalized script as the foundation. This will allow me to breathe life into New Dawn in a way that static visuals alone cannot capture. The animations will begin rolling out gradually, giving form to the intense and captivating moments that define this world.
The OVA: A Slow-Burn
New Dawn will not be a one-time release, but it will evolve over time. The OVA will continue to expand as more of the story is animated, ensuring that fans always have something to look forward to. Each release will add another layer to the immersive experience, building toward the full realization of the New Dawn vision.

About Me

Yo, what's good?
I go by the name BustyD, and I’m a 3D artist and animator passionate about creating high-quality animations and renders featuring fictional female characters from games and anime in perilous situations. My work primarily focuses on the damsel in distress theme, blending tension, adventure, and a little kinky fun along the way.I first set foot on the path of 3D artistry in late 2021, teaching myself everything from scratch. Initially, I worked as a modeler for a game project with a few friends, taking it on as a fun, collaborative challenge. However, after about six months, I realized that my skills weren’t quite where I wanted them to be for professional game development. I needed more time to refine my craft, push the quality of my work, and build a solid artistic foundation before taking on large-scale projects.That realization led me to shift my focus toward smaller, solo projects - particularly 3D animations. In 2022, I decided to specialize in something that had always fascinated me: bondage animations.Thus, BustyD (short for Busty Damsels) was born.One of my biggest motivations was the lack of high-quality, well-animated content featuring busty heroines in distress. Despite being a niche that has existed for a long time, I noticed that well-crafted, visually appealing bondage animations were few and far between, especially in 3D. This drove me insane. I kept thinking: "Why isn’t anyone making what I want to see?"So, I decided to fill that gap myself.Now, I continue to refine my skills and push the boundaries of what's possible in the realm of stylized 3D bondage animations. My goal is to keep improving my techniques, expanding my portfolio, and eventually bringing even more ambitious ideas to life.
With the huge help of one of my friends who hosted me at his place while my life was flipped upside down, I was able to focus and concentrate on practicing and working on my skill day by day in peace and without distraction and in a very short time span I was able to inch closer and closer to where I wanted to be as a 3d artist. I wanted to do this full time as a job.I'm really motivated to give it my all to one day be able to work on my dream of becoming a video game developer with a mastery of 3D art design and create my own video game company, centered around my dream bondage video game. However, that dream is very far away from where I am now and many years will pass before I even have a chance at making that happen, but I am not giving up until it does.However, one thing I can tell you will happen is that I am already working on an OVA featuring my original characters, crafted entirely to serve the DID kink. This project will go beyond visuals. Expect a thoughtfully written story with rich lore and deep, memorable characters that will leave you thinking long after the credits roll.The OVA in question will involve two cuties next to this wall of text. They are my OCs that will each get their own OVA and self-contained story. Q: Do you take commissions?
A: No, commissions are closed and it's unlikely that I will open them again. If that changes, I'll announce it.
Q: Do you take requests?
A: No, I only work on what interests me. If I ever open commissions, I will let people know.
Q: Do you take suggestions for scenes/animations?
A: Supporters can post suggestions in the character-suggestions channel on my Discord. I’ll consider ideas, but I only work on what excites me.
Q: Can I make fan art of your characters?
A: Yes, as long as it’s respectful and doesn’t misrepresent them in a way I strongly disagree with. Use common sense.
Q: What kind of art/animations do you make?
A: Bondage-themed 3D animations and artwork focused on busty damsels in distress - often struggling or trying to escape. Some works include groping, but everything stays within a mix of ecchi and hentai.
Q: How often do you release new animations?
A: I don’t follow a strict schedule. Animations take time, and I focus on quality over speed.
Q: Do you have any goals/plans for the future?
A: To become a video game developer, mastering 3D art & animation as my primary skill while also learning programming and game design. Projects like New Dawn and Soulbound are stepping stones to larger projects in the future.

Q: What software do you use?
A: Blender (GooEngine) for 3D modeling/animation, DaVinci Resolve for video editing, Adobe Premiere Pro for audio design, GIMP for image editing, Inkscape for graphic designing and Substance Painter for textures.
Q: How long does it take to make an animation?
A: Anywhere from a week to a month or more, depending on complexity.
Q: Will you make longer animations?
A: Yes. My newer animations will be better directed, longer, and more polished while keeping high animation quality.
Q: Do you use AI or mocap in your work?
A: No. Everything is handcrafted for full control over movement and expression.
Q: Any Plugins in Blender you would recommend?
A: CATS, Auto-Rig Pro, Simplify+, LoopTools, Node-Wrangler, Node-Preview, Auto Highlight in Outliner, and Ikea Browser.
Q: Are your animations voice acted by real people?
A: Yes. I’ve worked with talented voice actresses, including: xKitty-of-Doomx, Aife_thedarkelf and Sophia Woof.
Q: Have you done the sound for your animations yourself?
A: In my earlier animations, I handled sound effects myself, but over time, I started hiring audio designers. I’ve worked with: SilkJamJar and Sigma in the past.

Q: What is New Dawn or Soulbound?
A: These are my upcoming bondage/DID OVA projects featuring my OCs. Support me to get early access to development updates and exclusive access to the finished animations.
Q: Are New Dawn and Soulbound part of the same universe?
A: No, they are separate projects with different settings and stories. Each one focuses on its own unique characters and themes.
Q: Is Busty-chan her official name?
A: No, it's a nickname. Her actual name will be revealed in New Dawn.
Q: What’s Busty-chan’s story?
A: She will debut in New Dawn. Until then, she’s just having fun (or misadventures) in my animations.
Q: And Huzme?
A: She has her own story in Soulbound.

Q: How many OCs do you have and will you make more OCs?
A: Right now, Busty-chan and Huzme are public. I have other characters planned, but right now, I’m focusing on Busty-chan and Huzme.

A: I’m currently working on a Wiki for both New Dawn and Soulbound. Once it’s finished, I’ll link it here so you can find all the details in one place.

Q: Will you do GID content?
A: Absolutely not.
Q: Will you make sex animations?
A: No. The appeal of DID lies in the tension and what if rather than explicit sex. I believe imagination is far more powerful than anything that can be shown outright. That said, I’m not opposed to implying situations where a damsel is at risk if rescue doesn’t come in time.
Q: Will you do anything with stylized/realistic characters?
A: No. I focus on anime-style characters. Western-styled or realistic models are harder to animate without falling into uncanny valley territory and don’t appeal to me personally.
Q: What about unfinished animations you teased?
A: I’ve teased follow-ups to many animations, but they take a long time to make. My focus now is on original projects like New Dawn rather than continuing old animations.
Q: Will you make alt/no gag versions of older animations?
A: No, I have no time or interest in that.
Q: Will you remaster older animations?
A: No. Even if I have the project files, those animations are snapshots of my skills at the time. I’m okay with people discovering my older, less polished work.
Q: So, what about Femme Fugitive or Impel Bound?
A: Both are on hold in favor of New Dawn and will resume in late 2025 / early 2026.
Boundaries
Q: Can I message you to chat?
A: I closed off DMs to friends only. I prefer to keep interactions focused on my work. If you have a relevant question, keep it short and to the point. For casual chats, use the server instead as I’d rather keep engagement there than manage DMs. If you have a question that isn't answered here, ask in the questions forum on my server.
Q: Can I roleplay with your characters?
A: No.
Q: Can I use your OCs for my own stories?
A: No, but fan art is fine. Some exceptions apply for trusted writers.
Q: Can I edit, modify, or repost your work?
A: No. Do not alter or re-upload my work, but you can share direct links to my official uploads.
Q: Can I message you to pitch my OC/ideas for your projects?
A: No. I already have a clear vision for my projects and I don’t take outside story ideas and I’m not looking to include outside OCs in New Dawn, Soulbound, or any of my other projects.
Q: Can I ask for animation advice or Blender help?
A: No, I don’t provide private tutoring. There are plenty of great tutorials online if you want to learn.
Miscellaneous
Q: I want to make animations too! How difficult is Blender?
A: It’s difficult for the average person. You need discipline, patience, and a real passion for learning. I taught myself everything through YouTube tutorials, trial and error, and a strong work ethic.Ask yourself: Do I truly want to do this, or do I just like the idea of it? If you’re serious, commit to it.
Q: I still want to learn Blender. How do I stay motivated?
A: Set a big goal, like an animation or a model. Break it into milestones. Research what you need to learn step by step - modeling, texturing, rigging, etc. Use free resources online and don’t half-ass it. You have no excuse.
Q: Do you make SFW content too?
A: Yes, but my NSFW work is separate. I also do modeling and rigging commissions for clients, which helps pay the bills.
Q: Are you hiring? Do you want to partner with me?
A: I have no plans to partner with anyone right now, as my team is already staffed. However, if you’re a developer with experience in Unity or Unreal Engine and are interested in working on a bondage game inspired by Poker Night at the Inventory, feel free to reach out - I am looking for someone to help bring that project to life.
